The Scout Association of Nigeria (TSAN)
The Scout Association of Nigeria is the largest youth organization in the country and a proud member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Nigeria officially joined WOSM in 1961 and has remained an active and enduring member ever since. Founded on the global principles established by Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the father of Scouting, the association focuses on developing young people into responsible citizens through leadership training, discipline, life skills, community service, outdoor adventure, and moral values. For decades, the Scout Association of Nigeria has continued to inspire millions of youths nationwide, helping them grow in character, service, and patriotism while contributing positively to their communities and the nation at large.
